Alpha Rho Chi communicated with the Mississippi State Gymnasium and received the opportunity to design and build a reception desk for their weight room. Given the constraints and deadline the clientele wanted, we came up with a design that incorporated weight lifting bars for structural support and to tie everything together as well as using the old basketball court floor to create a waterfall counter top. Evenly spaced slits give enough room for storage as well as kick space for customers.
